Standard drawing tools often place a black rectangle annotation on top of the document without altering the underlying PDF structure. In those files, anyone can still select, copy, search, or export the hidden text underneath.
This tool performs destructive raster redaction. The selected pages are rendered directly into bitmap memory, the redacted regions are permanently overwritten with opaque black pixels, and the page is converted to an unlayered image. The underlying font streams, hidden vector paths, and selectable glyph layers are completely removed from the file.
